Saturday Morning or Afternoon, Golf

Wow, we are packing in the fun!

To further support the local economy and maybe give you another excuse to escape the family and spend some time with friends you don't always get to see ... consider showing off your "best ball" skills at the WESS Class of 88/89 Golf Tournament.

Options are:

Sherry Fodor is coordinating this event in conjunction with golf course owner, our own alumni, Laura Van Dyke. Golf consultation will be provided by Jeremy Okolisan, which is pretty much his job during the summer months!

To confirm your interest, please respond on Facebook and Email Sherry for further information. Payments can be made directly to the Club. Deadline for registering is August 5, 2009.

The club house has a restaurant and bar so lunch would be available at your own cost.

Sherry is also working on gathering up some prizes and they will be awarded during the evening program at the International Club. If you or your company would like to donate a prize, please let Sherry know at 905-696-6570 ext 5261.

Family and friends are encouraged to participate, it's not just for alumni!

We just want you to be there!

Invitations WILL NOT be mailed out. Facebook, emails, word of mouth and local advertising will be the method of contacting alumni. You can help by forwarding this information to friends who may not be on Facebook or have access to a computer.

See the other events created for both Friday, August 21 and Sunday, August 23/09 to extend your reunion fun!

Sunday, Prieksaitis Potluck

Extending the reunion fun, you are invited to a FREE potluck family BBQ at George Prieksaitis' family farm in Rodney (Furnival Road).

Sunday, August 23, 2009 from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM.

Hotdogs, hamburgers, drinks (coffee/lemonade) will be provided. Bring anything else you would like to BBQ, or any side dish, dessert or treat to share. There will be some tables and chairs but bring your own lawn chairs if you'd like.

Of course this is also an opportunity for us all to meet your kids (if you have them) so be sure to bring them along. Karen Timmermans (Yeah Karen!) has offered to coordinate some kids activities so when you RSVP to this event, please include the number and ages of any children attending.

Also, if there is someone local that would transport another BBQ to the house for us to use, please let me know.

RSVP's on Facebook are preferred so that we know how many people to prepare for and if you could also include a suggestion of what you might bring that would help as well. Drop-in's are also welcome.

And yes .. George's parents know that we are all coming and they are actually looking forward to seeing the old crowd!
